Relatively Untrue Chapter
The Price of Human Life
**********
Let us leave the field of Universal Truth for the moment and let us take a look at the price of human life, respectively at the usefulness of human being from purely economic or materialistic point of view. Though it is untrue, despite this it is interesting and maybe also right in it's way to look - now and then - at the world and at the people around us by this untrue point of view.
There are people who do very much for a real good of the world, but also there are people taking much from the world without giving anything valuable to it.
Let us realize what everybody accepts “from the world” as a rule. Almost in every case the medical and mother's care during his birth, much care from the parents, teachers and elder siblings. Also great amounts of food, the living in a house (prefab, family's house), education, clothes etc.
On the basis of the above-mentioned let us now list the main professions, respectively people, who cared most about child, later adult human:
· Parents.
· Medical personal.
· Foodstuff's producers, for example peasants (for instance the producers of potatoes which the child used to eat since its birth).
· The builders of the house the child grew up and lived in.
· Cloth- and shoe-makers.
As we can see, the above-mentioned people (professions) are the most important of all for a normal healthy child. The most illnesses are however caused by negative civilization's influences which are created just by those people and professions, which do not create any important values for human life, but on the other way round, unnecessary and harmful (satellites television programs, atomic power stations, military transmitters, artificial perfumes for men and women, the production of plastics and so on).
People who create the necessary and healthy products for human life have incomparably higher value than those people who create the unnecessary and unhealthy products as far as human life is concerned.
A man who destroys - by his profession and lifelong activity - the essence of healthy human life as such has not only lesser value than people who are useful for other people in the right meaning of the word, but his life has even a minus value. If somebody would liquidate such a man, then he would help the world and healthy human life. There should be set a price upon useless man's head (he is a pest of healthy human society), which equals to the sum of positive values the man is destroying every day all through his life.
On the other hand, the life of a man that is useful has a positive value and its sum is as same as the sum of his positive contribution for proper life of other people.
Thus equal rights and equivalence of particular people is nonsense from this point of view. He who creates positive values has much bigger value than he who destroys the right values or does not create any.
Every markedly useful man that is poor and has even no quality place to live in should have the right to come to somebody useless, drive him off his house and start to live in it and then devote to his useful activity in it, or have a quality living in it to have a rest and to be able to perform his beneficial activity the more intensely.
When useless man looses his house with a garden (where he only bred animals in bad conditions and fed them by harmful artificial feeding, for example), nothing happens. But if a top farmer, a skillful shoemaker or a good bricklayer would lose his house, then it becomes a real tragedy, since he would not have the good house no more, where he was allowed to perform his useful activity and had a good-quality living.
I repeat and emphasize again: When useless man looses his possession, nothing happens. But when useful man looses his possession, it happens a lot.
There is a long range of people who parasitize - by their own existence - on others. Let us mention a few:
· People who produce consumer goods detrimental to health.
· Politicians and officers who reign the state in a wrong way.
· People who are always only on social benefits and sick pay and do no good to society. They only accept and give nothing in exchange.
· People who destroy Nature.
· People with genetic defects who have children and transfer their defects to next generations.
· People who spread wrong ideologies resulting in false beliefs and wars.
· People who participate on spreading of harmful technique and unhealthy artificial products.
From the above-mentioned, the following instruction results: If human society wants to prosper successfully, it must prefer useful people to useless individuals. Only then it may be healthy and prospering.
From eternity's point of view (absolute Truth), all human lives have relatively the same value, of course. What has been written in this chapter - though it is not the Truth - despite this I find it useful to mention it, and manage to take a look - though only during a short moment - at the things from the above described point of view. It is a viewpoint limitedly human and we are people.
If you can, give!
*******
How much a man likes himself? And what or how much is he willing to sacrifice for others?
Inside of a man, mercy can fight egoism every moment. At least in such a man, who has the compassion consciously. People who have it hidden deeply in them without knowing about it, there are not many of them, is that so?
When a merciful man will possess several thousand dollars, many conflicts may arise between his egoism (desire to be well-off) and his desire to help the other (also desire for own good conscience).
The man, as the case may be, wants to allow himself this or that by means of these several thousands he has, and make with them his life more agreeable. Maybe he paints his flat or finishes the unfinished building-part of his house, if he has any. Or he flies on a good holiday. But his heart is always asking him: what use is it for others? How can I do any good to the world?
Then he goes and sees poor guys, beggars and cripples, and a part of his heart desires to divide his money among them and to give them everything. In this way he would maybe help them. Or the man has some valuable information, which he wants to share. But Internet, posts and telephones are so expensive! So he says to himself: It would be better to keep the money only for myself and help nobody neither spread the information. I rather buy a garden! But what is the use for other people? When I spend the money for my own needs, so then I will not be able to give it to them!
Whenever a man grants himself whatever nice and positive (of course, positive only from his subjective point of view), he will not be allowed to give it to others.
Examples:
· Somebody has a nice interesting video catching the moment that does not happen very often. He registers it, puts copyright on it and will sell it for too huge sums. If he would give it away for free all over the world including Internet, then everybody could have it and hand it over to other people. However, when the man sells the video, he deprives many people of their money and they will not be able to buy something else instead of the video, what they could "buy" if the video would be for free!
When the video will be sold, for instance it will be bought by 1 000 people. But when it will be absolutely free of charge, its copy will be obtained maybe by 100 000 people and they will be glad! Those who bought it, they will only be half-happy in contrast to the people who will have it for free, because people who bought it feel remorse, because they spent their money. So we will consider the pleasure of those who bought it as a half of the pleasure of those, who obtained it for free.
The pleasure of those who bought it: 1 000 x 0.5 = 500
The pleasure of those who got it for free: 100 000 x 1 = 100 000
How many more points of pleasure is it useful to give the video for free than sell it for a high price?
100 000 - 500 = 99 500
and 100 000 : 500 = 200
He who would give away the video for free made 200x bigger pleasure to others in contrast to him who sold it for a high price.
Here we can, of course, include millions of other factors which, finally, change the value of these numbers totally, but in this chapter we look at it from limited, one-sided and untrue point of view. We only get inside the actions and cultivate our thinking.
· Somebody has two houses and is a total egoist. Although he has three children, he does not share these two houses with them. He himself has a feeling of material security, but his children do not have a place to live, hang about the town or live in a too expensive flat and later, when they have their own children too, they cannot provide them any good financial and family's background. And all that only because of the fact, that one egoist wanted to have the feeling of safety and possession, that is to live with a feeling that he has two houses instead of one only or city's flat, where he would live in, if he would share the two houses with his children to give them a quality habitation! His children and the children of his children will live in poverty because of this one egoist! Besides, the egoists use to be healthy and the sicknesses slip down them and fall down on their children, who are better-natured or energetically (“Fatefully”) weaker.
(Everybody who is giving very much to himself, indirectly robs the other and makes their life be worse! Therefore try to live in such a way to only enjoy what is necessary and otherwise give where you are allowed! Live modestly, love Nature and one another and when you have more than what is necessary for your life, then go and make with the surplus a piece of useful work! If you will be wise maybe you will recognize what is relatively good and you will know, how and whom to help.
Never have such a surplus that because of it there were the poor! One day you would become a poor one too (of course, everybody will be everybody but as I have already said, in this chapter we look upon the things from one-sided point of view).
It is a sin to give something to oneself since it hurts the world, unless we speak about a so-precious man who helped the others very much just by means of a property he gained for himself firstly. These are the rare exceptions to the rule, though.)
· What use is it to have a better horse (than others) who manages to run many kilometers every day through Nature and never falls ill, unless he would have descendants and handed his vitality over to next generations.
· What use is it to be strong and a good fighter who is extremely skilled at his art, when he never teaches his art to any weak one so that he could be able to defend himself against his enemies? What is the point for the world when he will keep his art for himself only?
· Somebody takes a good care of his children and thinks for himself, how it is useful. But to ensure for his children a comfortable life in our times, he must have much money. The money he gains dishonestly or at the expense of somebody else. Indirectly, as the case may be, he makes hundred families with children be poorer to keep his own family on a better-than-average level of its life. He secures a lucrative job for his children and splendidly takes care of them. And his children will be supported so well only thanks to the fact that two hundred another children are supported poorly. Besides, the birthing of children is undesirable in today’s overpopulated world, above all after an artificial fertilization, which destroys next generations genetically.
· An old woman lives too long. All take care of her, she does not support the world anyhow, only takes away from it. In her life she maybe did not work very much and during decades of her pension she only takes away from her country's treasury.
· Somebody cured thousand men and one day he crashes into people staying at a bus stop and kills ten of them. However, this man is still in plus very much:
1 000 cured - 10 killed = 990
1 000 : 10 = 100, so the good exceeds the evil one hundred times (if we do not take into account its relativity)
The man is still so to speak “beyond the hills” and still is a winner. His good is hundred times bigger than the evil he made during the crash.
Almost all people including the awakened ones try to be well off and happy even at the expense of others, even though they know that one day they will have to experience the life of those whom they indirectly robbed of their life's happiness and so they become their own victim one day. Despite this they try to live as best as it is possible NOW, in the present.
I ask: Who manages to be happy when he knows that his happiness is the unhappiness of others?
I answer: Only egoistic and relatively heartless human!
